In general, how long are your assignments?
The length of the assignment varies depending on the need of each facility and also on how long you are available to stay at the assignment. A typical contract is 13 weeks, however there are assignments for both longer and shorter durations.
Where are your assignments located?
We have assignments available in all 50 states, Alaska, Hawaii, and the Virgin Islands. We staff all types of facilities ranging from the largest hospitals in the country to small clinics in rural areas.
What will my wages be?
Pay rates will vary for each healthcare facility, and therefore will be different for each assignment location. You will find however, that our pay rates are extremely competitive.
When and how will I be paid?
You will receive a weekly paycheck, which will be deposited into your checking account every Friday.
Where will I live while on a travel assignment?
Our professionals normally stay in a hotel or suite that is equipped for an extended stay with a full kitchen. We are flexible, so if we do reserve a room that is not suitable for you, we will change your accommodations as soon as possible. For longer assignments we can sometimes reserve an apartment.
Can I travel with family or pets?
Absolutely! Just let your Marketing Consultant know in advance that you will be traveling with family or pets so that he or she can make appropriate arrangements.
How do I register with Medical Contracting Services?
The quickest way to register with us is to apply online. You can also call a Marketing Consultant at (800) 388-5581, or fax your resume to (800) 238-9738. In addition, you may also email your resume to employment@medicalcontracting.com. If you are not ready to travel but know of someone who is, call us and refer that person. We will pay you a generous referral bonus once that person completes a 13-week contract.
